Ooh, I had the C64 and was addicted to all the games
But the one that really got me hooked was the original Super Mario for Nintendo 8-Bit
I’m a BIG nerd for video-games
Quite a few games were really great on A500 .
But the best was Amiga sound capabilities in PC speaker days.
I was blown away when I first heard the music coming from it!
Before I get my own A500 I recorded from my friends A500 its game music (Turrican II yeah!) on cassette player and played it all day long
Amiga 500 forever!
First game I got really hooked on was Carrier Air Wing. I played it for months when I was 10-11

ZdenekHoub saidThe composer of the Turrican sound is Chris Hülsbeck, he is still active in the scene www.huelsbeck.com

The first one that got me really hooked was Tyrain, then Diablo.
I did love and play every day the Aztec Challenge on the C64
However, Quake was the one that got me into programming. Quake C was amazing.
