Anyone think these other OEMs are (just as) guilty?

The HP nor any of these other don’t concern me enough. Of course, I also own the latest and greatest “hexagon” phone rather than you “rectangle” followers out there. That’s so square! LOL . ;-)

Now HP copied Apple. Please, Emanuele, read threads backwards. :P
You know me, when I read Apple praises my blood gets on fire and I don’t read anything. :)

I noticed now it was already written, my bad. Nowadays our lazy designers need to find definitely something fresh and new. How sexy were stuff back in the sixties? Damn!

It’s funny how Apple design is so thought out that even if you try something just a little differently (this HP etc.) it just doesn’t “work” anymore. Just look at that stand or keyboard, ugh.

Apple takes a product and minimize it to an absolute degree. Then they patent it. So they can then sue any inspirations and copies and what they can’t, well, that still looks like s**t because like I said their designs are so much spot-on that if you would change something it’s just not “it” anymore. Well done? :)

If you scroll down and look at the official product shot I fail to see the resemblance at all.

Ask a non apple person, like me….and I would say it looks like an iMac.

It certainly dont look like a Dell, Acer, or a eMachine…

Perhaps its just an uncanny spooky coincidence ?

I should clarify my statement. The concept is the same, but if you view the actual product shot the design is completely different.

Problem solved?

Sadly yes, its mind boggling how people see the combination of aluminium and a shiny black surface and act like apple somehow is the only company in the world allowed to use those materials. Its like saying Ferrari are the only ones allowed to use red carbon.

The real “magic” of apple is not the paint, its the underlying aesthetic which was not copied in any way in this case.

I guess HP started this things production before hearing the news of Samsung device ban. Regardless of opinions, the design is risky investment as a windows pc, especially the keyboard and trackpad.

Whatever… no more respect for HP.
