The Little Things

During the day I work as a signage designer, and sometimes (not often) I get asked to do photoshop mock-ups of a location with quite significant building changes, removing pillars, adding in new sections of building etc.

Today is one of those days, and it’s such a great break from the usual day to day grind

So I guess what I’m asking is, what are the little things (at work) that make your day better?

I work as a full time composer and sound-man for tv here…sometimes, when composing and producing for a long period of time, recording a simple voice over seems like a nicest thing in the world .

I love music and I practice singing when I am bored with coding and designing. I close the door, plug in my headfones to the computer, get up from my chair, play songs real loud and sing along. Great stress buster and it lifts spirits.

I guess one cup of milk is ok!

I work exclusively as a freelance dev… so a nice break for me is actually HAVING a well-paying client instead of just sitting here trying to drum up ideas on my own.
