Hey Guys,
The Marketplace API is back in action as of about 10 minutes ago. Your widgets and applications should be working again.
The API now has a restriction of 100 requests per hour per user. Anything more than that and you will be locked out for 1 hour. 100 requests per hour is more than generous because none of the information changes that fast. I would suggest that your applications check information only a few times an hour.
Within 1 minute of the API being relaunched 1 user was already blocked. The application that this user is using clearly has no delays between each API call at all. People developing API apps should take note of the request limit otherwise their apps will not work properly.
I apologize for the day of API downtime, but hopefully things will be smoother from now on.

His problem is that the xml elements within the item elements aren’t in a deterministic order. Like I said in the other thread, the order isn’t important. As the item elements are built up from hashes and hashes don’t preserve order the elements internal to the item are unordered.
We won’t be making a change to make these fields ordered.
