missed that… a slick way to merge a magazine with web type interactivity. Kind-of a Hybrid ezine/magazine. What could be cooler than having ALL your subscriptions, books and news delivered and stored on one little tablet. Add wireless web and email and this could be a comprehensive little devise. Like a giant iphone/kindle.

My company being a newspaper is super excited about this, going to be so cool to see the new tablets. Our VP is going up to CES this week, to check them out and possibly broker some deals with the manufacturers. If they can get the price point down and either charge a small initial fee or supply a tablet with your yearly or monthly subscription price—it’s definitely going to be a competitor to replace the printed medium.

I heard mixed about that… It would make sense but I think Google is going for the spotlight at CES and many tablet reader were also going to be hot at CES this year. I head the latest strategy will be to release after CES in late January to steal the spotlight back. Who really knows… but I was hoping that they call it something different besides iSlate… maybe iPad or something that rolls off the tongue more easily. We we see and pretty soon
