LOLing at the lyrics of the background song.
“Who am I to say I want you to back? You were never mine to give away.”
Anyways it’s obvious that they’ve got people who know a bit more about what they’re doing than a couple of years ago.
I generally prefer the simplicity of soundcloud for music sharing but this could be used as a music social network place again I guess since FB still is kinda hard to use for musicians sometimes.
We’ll see, I may personally give it a try again for my music projects or band.
PS: Loading time is slow as always though. They should get some Engineers there, not just software coding monkeys.
It looks great, but the problem is, they are just so late to the party. This design will be launched and within weeks it will most likely be trumped by something else.
Just looking at the design it does seem like it would function a lot better as a promotional platform than a social network. Visually, it’s very impressive.
Regardless, I wish them well and admire them for stepping back and having another go.
wow, i love it, waiting for my invitation
actually it looks amazing, honestly am gonna reconsider activating my account on myspace..
It was always my opinion that Myspace was better than Facebook. Yeah, the interface wasn’t as clean, and people put annoying content on their pages…but that was precisely why it was better – because it was much more customizable than Facebook is. It was almost like having a mini-website. But my opinion doesn’t matter, what matters is public opinion, and the public opted for the cleaner, but infinitely more mundane, social networking site known as Facebook.
Now, it appears ever since then that Myspace has been trying to look more and more like Facebook, but I don’t think it matters. I think the ultra hip kids who set social-networking trends move on to whatever they perceive to be hip or “underground,” so I don’t think they will be reverting back to something that is old. I think the Majority of people will just keep using Facebook, because they have invested so much time in it, well the hip kids go to Twitter, or whatever other ultra-cool networking site we don’t even know about but that now exists.
I agree with you, the first myspace has been really amazing, but when Fb and other comes it has been leave as it was, no update, no new features, an so on For me, myspace has done its time, and now it’s really hard to compete with new social networks.
Looking at a site like this just makes me feel exhausted at all the hours that would be spent keeping up with it. I’d rather be making music…
It looks great really, but I dont think it can shut down Facebook EMPIRE
