The upcoming release of WordPress 2.7 is getting a redesign for its admin panel, which you can see here: http://wordpress.org/development/2008/10/the-visual-design-of-27/

Personally it strikes me as a bit odd to launch another new look for the admin panel considering they just had Happy Cog redo it in 2.5 but it looks so nice I don’t really mind. Earlier this week they released some more new details, which you can see here http://wordpress.org/development/2008/10/the-new-27-dashboard/

What do you guys think?

As editor on biggest polish blog about WordPress I’ve already tested it – and I have to say it might take some time for people to get used to new layout, as it’s not just the lay, it’s about all these new features – if you know what I mean.

But as I already said here in Poland, I get a feeling of paying a visit on the bridge of a starship when visiting new dashboard – so many features ;).

Yeah – I read about this too. I actually have a posting about it that will go up in the next hour or so.
