you can send unzipped files to that particular buyer using a different method like dropbox ;)
if other people bought the file and managed to use it and didn’t complain about it maybe, just maybe there’s no problem with the zip anyway, ? no?

If the zip file works for others not for one particular buyer then it’s better to send the files to that particular buyer via a different method instead of wasting time.

He just mailed me again and said that he will contact PayPal to get his money back and file a complaint on PayPal about me. Is that even possible? Can he do that? ( Talk to PayPal ) I thought these are internal activeden matters. Right ?

It’ll still have to pass via Envato. Even if Paypal would send him his money back and ask Envato for the money, it’s still up to Envato to decide wether or not to accept and, in turn, ask the money back from you.

Very, very unlikely.

It’ll still have to pass via Envato. Even if Paypal would send him his money back and ask Envato for the money, it’s still up to Envato to decide wether or not to accept and, in turn, ask the money back from you.

Great to hear for me. Can a staff member confirm this? My file is working great, i just tested what he sais is not working, and it is working fine :) can he open a dispute with payapl directly for me or does he have to pass trough envto first?

by the agreement you signed with envato, you are not obligated to provide support for your files or even talk with a buyer. But, because you care about your item and you genuinely want to help, you actually responded to the client message. Probably you tried all your best to help him. Now is time to let support handle this situation, in the end if someone is not happy with something you can’t obligated him to be happy.

If he want a refund he have the way to do it by contacting envato support. Just direct his mails to spam and do not talk with this person again. He’s stalking you at this point, or probably wants to scare you in doing the work for free, who knows, world is big there’s a lot of strange people out there.

In a word, you take it to seriously, you can’t make everybody happy, live with it.

PayPal chargebacks and any other financial disputes will be handled by us, you don’t need to worry :)

In the future, I would save yourself the time and stress by allowing them to contact us for a refund if they threaten it and be done with the matter. Like Lance said we’ll test the file and reply accordingly. You’re all good buddy, no worries!
