If you already play guitar you can manage, if you don’t it’s tough. Especially if you want to play correctly. Down plucking is fine, but it’s really tough to flat pick with the bachi. I mean monumentally difficult. The bachi or plectrum is like 6 inches long and 5 inches wide.
