the_tags max tag number?

Is it possible; if yes, how?

Just to clarify, what I am trying to attempt is to limit the maximum number of tags (the_tags) to 3.

Hey Chris (or anybody else), would it be possible to check this code again? Somehow, someway, it is breaking my complete loop (i.e. when I click the post’s title or its comments on index.php, it brings me totally elsewhere).

I’d really appreciate it
