I mean, do you all prefer to have the ultimate solution in 1 device? Or a medium quality solution for all devices? ;) Just something to think about.

Atm I’m yet to decide whetever I’ll go with a responsive design or let it fixed. :S

you should consider the fact that 1024×768 it’s still the most used screen resolution:

Which is already a HUDE percentage.

But yes, unfortunatly 1024 is still very used. I’m in a dilema really.

IMHO , it doesn’t matter if your content stays inside 1024px.

A theme I’m working on has a container 1070px wide, but content inside is maximum 934px, so it will be visible.

My theme actually would stay on the 1140px… :p So, some sections would be hidden.

Remember – Just because someone has a high resolution monitor doesn’t mean they have the browser maximized at all times.
