It would also be worth looking into the Theme Cusotmization API. https://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Customization_API I’m using this for my next theme and I wish I started using it sooner.

ok yeah. But it will use default customize interface in WordPress. Which has less capablities & less user-friendly, if I am not wrong.

I was one of the SMOF contributors and I can say that it has a very good framework, but has missed some of the very important features. For example: WYSYWYG Editor, built-in metaboxes,data sanitization and validation, extensibility and performance. All this is now covered in Redux + all other features that were in SMOF. OT is also very good from all points of view.
