Hello everyone, I’m new here, and I have a question about theme documentation. I’ve done some research, and I found this thread, which is anwser of my question, but it’s pretty old. Is this still active? A mean do I need to put every tiny info in documentation, or most important things? Do I even need to make documentation?

P.S. My theme documentation is started, and I’m able able to finish it, but what about theme PSD ?

Hey,

You should not teach people how to code or add posts to wordpress, but you should cover most important aspects of your theme and features it offers and how to use them. And, yes, documentation should be present and it can be rated by reviewers as “Some Help” or “Well documented” depending on how good is it.

PSD is optional, but may increase your item’s value.

Cheers
