Dear friends, I have issue with my new built website http://photographerdubai.ae it is IRIS theme from Peerapong.
Theme is crashing on Ipads, all Ipads we have checked are crashing. I have checked another buyers but they don’t have this problem, but we do.
What we have noticed:
When change Page Settings ( those linked with gallery) in field ” Slide show/ statistic image ” for Statistic Image this Page later in Ipad doesn’t crash BUT still not working properly. Anyway whatever we would do with page settings HOME page is crashing. My friends something is wrong , we reinstalled theme, we installed new version of word-press and installed again theme and still crashing.
I hope some can help us.
Hi, thank you for suggestion, believe me first post I set to authors 4 month ago , they just replu all is ok, I thought that this issue is on my iPAd only. During 4 months I has been working on a site, content etc you may look http://photographerdubai.ae how may contents it has, and today just few days before officially launching a new website few customers from different corner of the world told me website doesn’t work on Ipads, it just crashing. We can not take a risk and ignore large audience of iPAds users, am I right? on androids tablets probably works correctly.
Bad is, I recently ask authors of IRIS peerapong again and again, but silence NO ANSWERS, they answers for other posts but this topic ignored. I am very disappointed with this, they should reject this theme from their portfolio ot to help people if they asked for. Very bad!
I don’t know anything about the theme but I think I can help you. I’m seeing the following error on your website;
“Viewport argument value “device-width;” for key “width” is invalid, and has been ignored. Note that ’;’ is not a separator in viewport values. The list should be comma-separated.”
So, open header.php file (Appearance->Editor). You will see the following code;
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width; initial-scale=1.0; maximum-scale=1.0; user-scalable=0;">
Change it with the following;
<meta name="viewport" content="user-scalable=0,width=device-width,initial-scale=1,maximum-scale=1" />
If it doesn’t work, deactivate all your plugins and try again…
thank you Kotofey but explain me why other themes have not this issue and does not matter if safari has bug or not. Is it mean every second ( but all in my worldwide friends) has bug? Have you got iPad, pls check on yours. I hope owners of themeforest will create ranking of the best supportive theme’s producers and the most unsupportive, maybe those guys will treat their clients seriously. Imagin situation your customer who pays you a lot of money who just had chosen Iris bold theme , trusted you , has been waiting 4 mounths sudenly is informed that half of world will not see their website beacause producers ignored this problem , more they said all is ok,
thank you Kotofey but explain me why other themes have not this issue and does not matter if safari has bug or not.
