My theme got rejected and the reviewer said:
“Your template’s design does not meet our quality standards at this time and will need significant improvements before it will be ready to be reviewed again. You might consider taking a look at some of our popular premium items to get a better idea for the quality level of graphics, typography and general design that we require for approval.
At this stage in the design I am, unfortunately, not able to provide more specific feedback other than what I’ve stated above (the design needs overall, general improvements). With further improvements I may be able to provide more specific feedback.”
What’s wrong with the theme? Can anyone help me how to improve my theme?

For the Dribble and Forrst, I don’t know how to ask the people there because there’s no registration or sign up page, for the conceptfeedback, you have to purchase it before you can ask. So now I have no idea why I got rejected please help me on this. Thanks

Hmm on forrst on the first page there is a sign up form. You have to submit something you’ve made before you get accepted.
With regards to the design its not bad, i just feel its miss that special something to make it standout from the rest.
Its hard to put a pin on exactly what needs to be changed but I would start but designing a more interesting logo. This is the first thing you see when you load the page and sets the first impression for the rest of the site.
I also think some areas like the blog could do with a bit of extra line height/padding/margin etc as they look a bit cramped. Especially add some more to the post headings.
