Explanation was typography improvements (not enough contrast) and lack of distinction between main content and sidebar.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

I think this template has good structure and a pretty good design however I few things could be changed to enhance the design.

1. I think the “current state button” on the navigation looks a little off, and now that I think about it, all of the buttons have that similar style, I suppose it would be a good idea to differentiate those buttons.

2. That horizontal rule you are using looks to dark, lighten it up, and possibly put a highlight on it to make it pop a little more.

3. I would lose the inner shadows on the text near the footer, I would also consider using a different icon for your list bullets. Possibly give the list items more padding as well.

4. The text formatting on the “free, robust, secure” section looks a little off, I think they could be formatted better.

Otherwise I think it’s a pretty good design, I like it :)
