Hello,

Any complete theme available to create your own marketplace (similar to an envato one actually) to have people sell and buy digital goods?

It would be possible doing the following thing but a built-in solution would be much appreciated:

-Get a wordpress theme conpatible with woocomerce: http://www.woothemes.com/woocommerce/ -Then add this pugin for woocomerce to add marketplace abilities: http://shop.mgates.me/shop/wc-marketing/wc-product-vendor/

There are quite a few Woocommerce ready Themes here if that is what you mean. Check this link:

I meant a full market place with full multivendor features built-in. Buyers and sellers would both register on the website and sell/buy.

The only way I see this today is by using OpenCart + an extension like MultiMerch http://multimerch.com/features/

I am able to do what I wanted with the following:

-open cart -theme frome themeforrest -extension http://multimerch.com :)

Easy Digital Downloads + Front End Submissions + Commissions is all you would need. WooCommerce would be overkill in my opinion if you’re just selling digital goods.

Im currently in the same boat as im building a pair of online marketplaces for clients, one is digital for student purposes which Ill use Marketify theme with all the EDD extensions.

On the other hand I need to create a cell phone marketplace which I believe I will use a directory classifieds theme for convenience.

And lastly I need a clothing marketplace which is what really has caused me problems as this client is really ’’picky’’. Goodstore theme offers special treatment with WooCommerce Product vendors plugin, HOWEVER It seems that the addition of products and all the admin things for the sellers is done in the BACKEND instead of the FRONT END , which is a turnoff as my clients client aren’t very tech savvy

OpenCart is another option, I saw another with Magento (SKYROCKET PRICES) and CS’Cart seems very promising , its software allows multi vendors from the beginning and design looks good.

I also came across Sharetribe which claims is the Shopify of marketplaces but havent tried.
