Themeforest PSD Templates - HTML & Wordpress Service!

Note: I’m not touting/looking for work this just an idea I’m thinking of!

I have noticed that some authors who create PSD templates are getting comments/requests that they would buy their templates if they were coded either to HTML or Wordpress but some authors don’t know how to code, they are just designers!

I am thinking of starting a small coding service just for the authors from Themeforest and would like to hear from you/authors if there is a call for such a service!

I think it’s a nice idea but how much would you charge?

hi i think it is a very good idea im sure you will get a lot of business but like BroOf said

your gonna have to hav a good price because there is ALOT of competition out there that offer the same service.

Yeah i know there is a lot of competition out there but this is just going to be for Themeforest authors and yes the price will have to be good.

The point of the thread is really to see if authors without the ability of coding would need a service like this.

yeh I defo think there’s alot of authors that would use the service including myself

I’m personally one such designer, who simply doesn’t like to code.

However, the main thing that’s kept me from using markup services is the price- I’m in no way suggesting that the process is easy or not worth the hundreds of dollars that they charge, but simply that I can’t physically afford to pay that amount just for a template that might or might not (more likely) recoup my money, and then start turning a profit as well.

Is a good idea, however I’ve see a lot of services with high prices, 5 html pages+Wordpress (500+$) is a lot! I code XHTML I only need a WordPress service, well (For now, i’m learning it )

It sounds like a great idea if the price is right. Most psd to html services are much too expensive considering that the designer is gambling whether their creation will even sell or not. If you could price your service so that the risk isn’t so big, then I think you will have a winner.

I need that kind of service for Wordpress only!!!

Interesting, I might use it. Depending on price of course.
