Is it just me or are you also experience a lot of problems with the loading of these sites?

I am getting a lot of 404(just a sec)pages the last couple of weeks.

Me as well. I’ve been seeing quite a few of them (as well as the site loading slower in general).

Yea I was just gonna post a thread like this. It’s not just you. I get it all the time. Yea i heard they were comin out with a whole new design.

EDIT : Also earlier today, I got a 403 error. The entire website didn’t work for about 5 minutes. weird.

I’ve been getting these steady and quite frankly, it’s annoying but I just deal with it because I know they’re probably doing some cool stuff to make the place even better.

I doubt it will be the new design – that SHOULD be on a test environment – Lordy I hope so!

Now they could be fixing stuff – but I tweeted about the 503 error earlier today to see if anyone else got the same – apparently they did.

But lets be honest it’s par for the course with TF – missing images / downtime etc – but hopefully they will not just redesign but beef up the server / bandwidth and start to split some of the loads between stuff with the new design.

Everything is good right now though! :)

Hi Guys,

We’ve been experiencing higher than average server loads for the past few days. It’s not at all related to the redesign, we don’t test that on any live servers.

We’re working with our hosting company to figure out what the root cause is and return reliable service, it appears to related to poor performance of some of our hard disks. We’ve got a scheduled upgrade for that this weekend and we’re also looking at a few other things we can change.

Please be patient – you can be sure these outages are annoying us about 10x as much
