Things to improve on

I think that the fact that LivePreviews are actually to be hosted by the authors themselves should be stated in a much more explicit way.

Right now, I’ve been waiting for more than 10hrs to have a re-submission approved that included a link to a LivePreview hosted by myself, while my template has already been online for almost a full day.

And it has 0 sales, with 2 possible causes: too “different”/artsy OR a missing LivePreview.

Given the fact that it will only be featured on the homepage for a limited number of days…I am potentially losing money.

Maybe in the future, editing the LivePreview link could be allowed without having to wait countless hours for a reviewer approval?

Once the template has been approved, I really see no harm in this. No author would be crazy to risk posting something bad or an exploit and so on…

PS: I guess templates are assigned to certain reviewers and once they have worked on one, no other reviewer can take their place?

1. You can change/set the live preview without reviewer approval (along with other info). Look at the top section, under the browser compatibility options there is a button “Save Changes”. That will let you edit the info. in the top section without reviewer approval.

2. Templates aren’t assigned to specific reviewers but there might only be one reviewer that is the main reviewer for a particular category, when that reviewer is gone the others pick up the work.
