thinking about a no support button

hello there,

im following this forum along time but im very new in this forum as active user. to make it short, is it possible to update each authorĀ“s account with an “update” badge.

the idea i had long in my mind, bc some of the wordpress themes are not as good supported as it should, lemme say could, be.

some questions are left unanswered over +4 weeks and thats not good. permanently updates of the wordpress code and its plugins, some authors are using, make it needed to give a good support. what do you think, is this a good idea and worth to discuss in this forum?

Hi 0703,

When buyers send there support questions throughout the Authors Contact page on themeforest then i’m sure there questions will be answered ASAP .

Lot’s of Authors have to many files on themeforest to go over them each day looking for support questions and when they receive it in there inbox then they have to answer them, so it’s not a matter of not wanting to give support but the Authors just can’t see them all.

And i’m sure there are a few who doesn’t give support but that’s maybe 10%.

sure thing and thanks for your reply. but what if you come here as visitor and a design/theme catches your eyes and you want to see it live and you search for the preview….and then you read some comments bc you have some questions and you read that users have unanswered questions and ask officially for support – maybe they received support and updates the way you mentioned, but if not – you as maybe new “client” would think twice i guess. but you as stranger and still maybe client will see this and mabye this will affect you from buying, probably

its not that i want to hunt those “10%” of authors or anything else, just want to make sure that you get what you pay and what themeforest (envato) stands for. asskicking unique designs, and so the support should be too.

and good support should be mentioned with a extra badge and so should be bad or no support mentioned too – with a skull :)
