We breed Newfoundlands. ( used to )

This image is a few years ago now, was one of our bitches, called Bella.

Love this photo, as no one believes it is a dog, but a fella dressed as a gorilla lol.

Well it isnt it is bona fide.

We had at one point 7 adults, and at times 8 pups too.

Now down to 2 bitches, Coco and Roxy. One brown and one black ( in fact daughter and mother )

We no longer breed, just enjoy these gentle giants. Possibly the very best temperament dog you ever could wish for.

Ste

I nearly died laughing when I saw the picture. It looks like a gorilla.

A few days after starting this thread, I got a dog but…..

....on that first day, he got REALLY sick. Of course in the short time I was with him, I had completely fallen in love with him so I had to see it through.

After 10 days at the vets, he was finally well enough to come home last night!

Check out my new puppy and the coolest dog on the planet, Charlie!

Thanks guys!

The general consensus on his breed is that he’s a Golden Retriever/Sheltie/Collie mix. I rescued him from a kennel so your guess is as good as mine! :)

Fyi Golden Retrievers are one of the most intelligent dog kinds in the world. That’s why I chose my beautiful dog from that category :)

i can only recommend, as they are very loveable beings, but remember: no matter how big your backyard is, or how small the dog is, you HAVE TO WALK it every day at least once. so if you are the lazy kind, betterget a cat :) or fish, or whatever. a dog in the house is like a new family member, only with very special needs. keep that in mind, and you will have a happy dog.
