Mistreatment with elite authors without notifications, dropping themeforest standards regarding theme acceptance, what next??

(ok, bit off-topic, but just trying after other attemps, as there are a lot of staff on this thread)
@jremick good post. I think this matter has been overtalked.
Guys let’s all (authors and envato team) learn from this and do better. I, myself, learned a lot over this subject and appreciate all the opinions on both sides.
As an author, I would say that we do need to be as much careful as we can. Envato staff, don’t really know what to say but I’m sure that there is something you can get from this thread.
People, let’s just do better! After all, we are a community, always have been and it will never work otherwise!
Best regards, Eduardo
Jremick I apologize for my comment, it was not my intention to sound offensive to you or any other member of the staff.
Oh, it’s okay, I didn’t take it offensively and I understood where you were coming from in saying it. I just thought it helped illustrate the overall point I was trying to make in my post.
I think it would be a little more fair if Envato only disables the item in question, not the whole shop, that really seems a bit farfetched in most cases.
And I also think that reviewers should be officially ordered to just reject items with obvious copyright infringements such as images with Angelina Jolie, Apple products, etc. and then wait for the author to show the license.
