(Locked) This is ridiculous...

I really need support’s feedback on this matter. My template (Java Royale) was approved earlier today and now I’m receiving horrible feedback from members here on ThemeForest. Most of these members are claiming I am infringing another website’s IP rights…

This is absolutely ridiculous, as my design has nothing similar but the structural integrity and a few minor perks. There is no crime for designing something based on inspiration – especially when it’s color scheme, images, slideshow, fonts, and functionality are completely different.

Will a member of staff please respond? I was asked to remove my template from a member that has only been around for 0-1 year (s) and I do not appreciate that WHATSOEVER .

I’ve worked very hard on this template, constantly improving after soft rejections to get it right. I’ve put everything I have into this template and it’s not right to criticize me for it.

How? I can compare apples with green apples all day here on ThemeForest. However, my design is ENTIRELY different than theirs… I’m really not seeing the similarities in the two designs besides the coffee cup (which even looks completely different) and the layout of the blocks. Neither of these deem it necessary to file a complaint and/or remove my template from ThemeForest. This is not a matter of whether my design is in violation, it’s a matter of Wunderkinder not deciding to push the template in the Landing Page section.

I have literally busted my a** working on this template and now I’m receiving loads of crap for it? This is ridiculous… Absolutely insane.

I didn’t know you can “ripe” a design? Anyhow, I can obviously tell this is a “bandwagon” trend for you guy’s to jump all over a new author. It’s ok though, I’m going to continue uploading my awe-inspired designs that have completely different concepts and enjoy my time here at TF.

Their layout concept isn’t even that unique anyways.. And I’ve utilized laptop mockups in my designs before, so that definitely has no play in this argument.

You’re right, I’m wasting my time. I’m just trying to justify how my theme is different now that I’m being picked on

beetlesales best to get in contact with staff. In my opinion if this got the green light from themeforest then I see no reason why it shouldn’t be up for sale.
