Open an item on the marketplace.

Then add ?license=regular&open_purchase_for_item_id=XXXXX&purchasable=source to the end of the URL (where XXXXX is the item id).

This opens the new purchase lightbox as soon as the page loads.

This could be useful if you have a 3rd party landing page with a “Buy Now” button on it. You could directly link to this URL for your item. If the user has already read your marketing spiel on the landing page and is ready to buy then this link will save them 1 click and prompt them to buy the item straight away.

Someone might find this useful :) I’m going to try it out from one of my landing pages and see if conversions increase.

(however if someone isn’t ready to buy, then this could be a turn off for them, use with caution :) )

Probably in variable “open_purchase_for_item_id” we should use actual item id?

Yer that’s what I’m doing. Probably safest, although it seems to work with any number. I’ll fix my first post.

Great and Dtbaker how much you spend on Ad words and does it work out and do we get sales through adwords?

Earlier I spent few $ on google Image net work adds but not got any sales.
