I Agree that it should go up on pricing.
I think that the low sales in the PSD Category are to “blame” for that most people think like o yeah there will be a HTML version or WP version soon so they dont really need the PSD .

That’s a very good point indeed.
I have a feeling people are going to disagree but:
If someone wants a website, and they are not ready to pay over $200, then they don’t really want a website…
My last company quite regularly billed over $100k for custom builds that weren’t too much more effort than half of the themes here.
Sure I know the pricing model is totally different for volume sales
- Author had a Free File of the Month
- Bought between 100 and 499 items
- Europe
- Exclusive Author
- Has been a member for 3-4 years
- Microlancer Beta Tester
- Referred between 1 and 9 users
- Repeatedly Helped protect Envato Marketplaces against copyright violations

If WP themes had a minimum price tag of $40, then a Site Template could be priced at $20-25 and a PSD template at $15.

It’ll totally decrease sales of PSD and even HTML templates.
Yep, psd prices are a bit low but @fillerspace has a point, increasing the price of the psd category would pull a price increase request on the other categories as well… so i think it’s not going to happen in the near future although i’m completely fine with that
As for this reason i usually don’t include the psd in the HTML version of the template.
