Thoughts

I’ve been noticing sales have been a little slow the past week, and wanted to ask for some opinions on my most recent theme InspiredCorp:

It was approved back on Jan 26th and I’ve only seen 6 sales, I’m wondering if this is from lack of features, price point, target market, etc…What do you guys think?

On a side note here’s a new WP Portfolio/Blog Theme I have in the works, its currently just a mock of the home page but any suggestions/crits are welcome:

Personally I think it is a very clean professional template. Not sure.

Sales have been kinda slow for me as well. I notice when I submit a new template that sales go up for awhile then slow back down. I’ve also noticed sales are heavily influenced by events (like the superbowl).

My opinion on your template would be that although the design is pretty clean and professional, the way the content is organized is a little flustering to the eyes when viewing (home page). Other than that I think it’s pretty nice. I would just give it more time, as I would imagine sales on it will probably be a little slower than some other templates but fairly steady.

Also, your wp mockup looks good so far. Keep up the good work!

I really like your Inspired Corp design, and it’s actually one of my favourite on TF. The sales are bound to increase over time – which is what I’ve found is happening to my templates.

That’s interesting to hear. The truth of the matter is that we’re selling more templates than we ever have before on ThemeForest. The last two weeks have been record breakers.

I second that. I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that Envato is working on new versions of the market places, they should definitely include this.

You did read it somewhere The topic where either Jeffrey or Collis announced some big change on the marketplaces (Which eventually was the comissions going up, but I thought they said the new layout/Interface wasn’t a joke either )
