Welcome to the dark cycle of doom!
First of all you have to get rid of you BootCamp partition, eat up too much precious space for a Mac laptop. How much is your HD? Guessing from the old MBP , it probably around 12GB.
Get Adobe CS4 suite for Mac, use CS4 or CS5 , relatively stable than previous version.
Also if you have some money in Paypal, there’s a bundle on sale at VoteBundle (google for it), you will get some useful apps like SpeedDownload.
I have been a mac user for 5 years, when I got my first Mac. I google everything, no more crappy windows software or partition. I tried everything on Mac, it will make speed up your learning curve. Mac is user friendly, you have to get rid all you windows workflow or change it.
Gotta stop typing, in a minute I will sound like a fan boy
Once again, congratz on the switching to cycle of doom.
no its the brand new 17” i7 model, 8GB ram, 500GB HD Its only been out for a couple of months… I went for the antiglare screen rather than the gloss which has a different surround to the screen…
CS5 for windows and CS5 for mac need different serials so to save a ton of money i’m using bootcamp with windows… I also code in FlashDevelop which is windows only too.
@brutchfield: wow, thanks for the links, some nice cases there
Will check out Appstorm
Anyone else suggest any cases?
I always thougt is looks black arround the screen? But somehow this is grey? I mean something wrong? Thanks for any advice!
