there are allready many threads out there about this topic i think, so ill make it short:

1) Support
- Stay in contact with your buyers and help them whereever help is needed

2) Quality
- Dont try to finish an item within 2 hours… Think carefully about what you wanne create first of all. You can be inspired by other websites or designs, but dont try to copy too much.
Also spent some time creating the preview and thumbnail file, cause thats what buyers see first and what convinces them to buy this file and not a similar one.

3) Quantity
- more items = more income, but please dont forget number 2)...

4) Promoting - promote your products on social networks or graphic sharing sites.

5) Specialise - create files of a specific category only, this will built up a steady group of followers. ( not easy always, sometimes its just easier to create stuff from other categories, too. Might also get boring otherwise )

Big Help h3design :) Thank you so much! Though I spent a month creating my first item here in GR, I will keep all these tips in mind.

@h3design, good points! :)

@Thread.

1)Try to focus on one or two category. (like: flyers and mockups, or icons and UI elements).

2)Read books about typography and improve your skills in program you using.

3)Create good web site, with support center, where buyers can open tickets for some issues or questions.

4) Connect you support center with e-mail on your phone, and set automatic sync, and when you get new e-mail (ticket), try to answer quality and fast. (All buyers love that!)

5) Also, promote yourself on some sites like Forrst, Dribble, Pinterest, Deviantart, ...

6) Create FB page with your username on graphicriver, and post your work on it! (try to use same nick (username) on all graphic sites, to make strong nick (like some brand))

7) Create minimalistic design, usefull, easy to edit. Just keep it simple!

8) Read about design standards.

9) Sometimes, make some freebies (free designs), people love this. And you will have more followers (more potential buyers)

That’s it from me! :)
