Hello!

I’m looking for a program/plugin/hidden setting/extension that would format my code. I’m currently using dreamweaver, and there is a format (paint bucket icon) tool, that formats the HTML code very well, but I would like to extend this feature to my javascript(jQuery), and PHP code too. I use the autoformat all the time in Flash, and I’m in need of this feature when I’m coding in HTML .

It would be the best if it could recognize the mixed content: A ‘big’ .php file that has PHP , some HTML where the PHP tag is closed, and some JS.

Thanks, I’m sure there is plenty of solutions, and I trust you authors have them! :)

You are looking for a Code Beautifier—there are a lot of Online ones for CSS and HTML , I am not sure about JQuery/JS yet, probably though. Look on Google for JS Beautifier (or however you spell it).

Dreamweaver has extensions to add that capability. Here’s one.
