I found myself not buying anything anymore. Is anyone else doing the same?

For me, to buy a single license at the time, the file needs to be spectacular.

Just wondering.

I also think no title on the recent items doesn’t help.

Its just more important to put the name of your file in the icon now.

GX, don’t give up on us yet. There are still lots of spectacular files here :)

Hey Jack,

You know I like Flashden. I have spent a ton of money here but the license is a bummer for a developer and it is not as attractive in comparison to other flash component sites.

I think a lot of buyers will eventually reuse the files even though they only bought it once, so they won’t mind about the licenses anyway. I have only seen a slight (probably nonsignificant) increase in sales so I think things aren’t really getting worse.

I haven’t (on flashden) nothing to do with license though (still would love the original one not multi), I just have not seen anything that has caught my eye really. Do not think it has anything to do with redesign either as I like it.

However I am starting to wonder if there are too many recent files on the front page to properly focus on them individually. Think I preferred the original sites layout for them, which is weird cos I thought it would be better with more.

Any way I am sure there will be some great new files all come along at once.

you’re right but it’s a bum rap for people like GX who want to play by the rules.

GX3000 , I couldn’t digest the fact that not having 10 project license really changing your decision. If you are going to use a file for 5 different projects, purchasing 5 Regular licenses is still a huge profit for you.

One of the use what 10 project license had is, it encouraged the people (who never thought about multi license) to think about it and utilize the discount. Now the only change is absense discount. That is not going to affect the decision of the buyers who strongly needs a file but may affect the kind of files:
“Better to purchase it now but use it later incase needed again”

Anyway, I wounder how many buyers used a single file for 3+ projects by purchasing 10 project license. In theory, it seems to be very rare.

Almost all my purchases are 10 project licenses since the old one was removed.

Now with the new rules, no purchases but one, that I am not even going to use because the file is not good enough.
