Just a thought – since there are some new faces on FD who have been selling really well recently it would be cool to have a sales increase or decrease indicator on the top sellers list to see who’s moving up the ranks. Just a simple up or down arrow icon underneath each users sales. Sort like the red and green arrows you’ll see when share prices rise and fall. This should create more competitiveness between authors and boost further sales for FD and authors alike. Also the users badge could be there too since there’s some space to fill up.
hey, don’t waste any time.. you have a bobocel to beat up at sellings
heh…. working on my first completion file now actually, got distracted ok back to work….
We agree …
ahh one of the new(ish) face’s I was talking about – I have to say u guys have been incredibly busy on the file making lately. How many people are making FlashDen files over at Triworks?
what for a competetion? tell us
There is an unofficial competition running between bobocel and I at the moment -the top seller for the month wins. No prize, just all the glory But I think there might be someone else who’ll be topseller this month besides bobocel and I so we’ll have to see what happens.
derBauer used to be my hero…. now it’s the TriWorks.net team! I hope to reach your level of skill and sophistication.
Hi digitalscience and jwg, well there is no one really working for FD, we are working on other projects. Right now we are a team of 4, working on different areas, like 3D, video, flash, etc, besides another army not working in house. We like to be a small team to keep the quality up. Big teams often forget team work and we prefer to bet on skills rather than quantity. We have been working in flash as a company since 2001 and we created a huge portfolio, now we are just recycling. Yes it’s true we had some amazing sales compared to other members but we are not finished yet! Let’s wait and see.
Thank you JWG it’s comments like yours that keep us alive.
About the unofficial competition, our vote goes to you!
BTW : We think recognition is essential to keep, designers and programmers motivated. If you are good everyone should know about it. This contributes to more effort, better files, better sales and better future.
