Why not do a hosted service that uses your API key? Since you are paying for the API key, you can then charge a set fee for each translation, or a monthly access.
I agree with pippin. ^^ And yes, I would hop on this service as it seems pretty awesome.

Google translate is not very accurate. Its cheap but you cannot trust it, imho!
Would have to agree on this, even though this is a cool idea having a botched translation is just going to cause people headaches be it having to double check everything or redoing the file itself.
There’s no substitution for human translation.

What about when we’re talking about one and two word phrases? From my experience, those are typically really accurate. It’s the whole phrases that tend to get botched.

Agreed that a human is always better, but I still think having even a slightly less than perfect translation is still easier for the end user to figure out than something that is not even in their native language. Even when I see butchered English I am usually able to figure out what someone’s saying.
For someone that doesnt speak english it can be nearly impossible to translate an English .po file, however, they could much more easily translate a butchered version of their language.
Hey! That’s a really good idea! I’ve worked for a translation agency and i can tell that automated translation is really a bad practice however it can be a very point of start and save quiet a lot of time!
Hi Frnd,
There are so many translation agencies available which provide their services but I would recommend a trust able company which is LanguageNoBar.Languagenobar is an award winning translation company in India offering high quality translation services. Best hopes for you.

Sounds great, even though Google Translate is not perfect, it is better than nothing.
