Well, if you need to chillax, I would recommend Koh Samui, but I really don’t know what to say, as I’ve visited Thailand before the Tsunami hit it, and I haven’t heard a whole lot about Pukhet and the rest of the coast… otherwise, anything I’d advise no matter where you’re travelling, do not “make friends” with TOTAL strangers (as in folks you can’t at least remotely connect to someone in your immediate circle (even “the brother of the hotel clerk” is close enough, so I am not being exaggerated), do take care of your belongings, and this involves having your passport and at least 1000$/E strapped to your chest, and use locally recommended bugsprays. International brands might smell better, but I doubt they’d be efficient.
And most important of all : HAVE FUN G ’DAMN IT!
Planning also to travel to Bangkok next week but one – I’ll be on the lookout for a guy with a seven park I’m also planning to spend some time in Hong kong and Guanzhou.
Have fun and enjoy your trip
@Black3ye – we wanted to do Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam! Unfortunately, we just didn’t have enough time, and had to pare it down.
@contrastblack thanks man! We’re heading to a little island way in the south called Koh Lipe – should be pretty relaxing
@doru – I’m hoping to find some fun without facial tattoos and finger loss lol
@arrowthemes – you too! I’ll keep an eye out for the guy with arrows
Off to the airport soon… getting excited!
Have a great November, everybody!
