Well, I’m really pleased to announce the availability of a new free tool for Envato users.

trEnv is an Adobe Air application specifically aimed to analyze sales, earnings and purchases over time.

Unlike similar application like iEnvato, trEnv doesn’t use the Envato marketplace API , due to its data limitations. trEnv works with the .csv statement files, available from any Envato user dashboard page.

Please read the instruction page and I would to remark that this is the first release and it should be considered in alpha stage since I’ve tested it only with my .csv files (which aren’t so huge ;).

Any feedback about bugs, suggestions, features are warmly welcome.

Really nice idea! The Sales and earnings tabs (the ones next to timeline) are disabled for me. The little speech balloons that say “sales” and “earnings” disappear when I click.

It’d be nice to have general info on all sales and all earnings as well. You could move the copyright into the sidebar, that way you can get rid of that large black line at the bottom.

YEEEEES :D Finally!

Thank you SO much, I will send some money your way once I got something on PP. And you guys/authors should too btw ;)

Seriously, you’ve done an excellent job! I have got nothing bad to say about it, awesome!!

Improvement tips:

  • Change the black BGs for dark grey or something less contrast, it hurts my eyes a little. UIs like this should be light.
  • Add SMA (simple moving average) and EMA (exponential moving average) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moving_average . This way we could better see the trends and changes. The best way will probably be to add both. Add 2 blank input fields somewhere in the sidebar or header, and let the user decide the “n” data points (range of days in timeline) this way.
  • Add 2 blank input fields for timeline dates interval, so the user can precisely select the days range. Or just add 2 calendars.

These are just tips, but it would rock much more if these tips would be implemented. Do you think you could make it?

Really nice idea! The Sales and earnings tabs (the ones next to timeline) are disabled for me. The little speech balloons that say “sales” and “earnings” disappear when I click.

Awesome! This thing is awesome. Thanks for the application. But maybe you could have named it better? :D Just my opinion though.

Yes it’s ugly, but easy to remember and to say. ;) I didn’t have a nice name to give to it so I picked up the first that came in my mind.

Do you have some names to give to it for free? ;)

haha.. well I’m that fantasy lover guy so the names I like ain’t one to be liked by general users. But I really don’t think trEnv is easy to speak. Actually I’m a little confused. How is it pronounced? I’ll give a try to think of some name though but I bet there are quite a large amount of users who are good in naming things.

Edit: How about BitEnvato? haha.. not really thoughtful though.
