Same here… as a lot of authors with same problem. Anyone has a jQuery plugin to solve it quickly?

With the recent changes, does anyone now if we really need to use the key, secret and access token stuff? Will all the users have to input these values on their widget settings?

Yes, all of your users need to create an app and get those API access tokens.

For Tumblr Theme authors out there. Tumblr’s own tweets.js is still working like it was. (Moved to it earlier as jQuery.twitter.js was affected by Twitter API version 1.1 too.)

I implemented this update and had my feed working with v1.1 in about 15 minutes. This plugin also allows you to cache tweets and set the cache interval if the OAuth request limit is an issue.

Hope this helps. ;)
