We were thinking about setting up a twitter share competition to give out two copies of our theme.
Just a couple of questions:
- Is this possible with Themeforest? (selling the theme here and offering it for free in a limited quantity)
- Is this a viable option to get more traffic?

That’s not possible, however I think you can do the contest and send them the money for the theme

It is possible if you buy the theme yourself, from a different account. Then “transfer the license” .. But a valid license and a purchase would be needed for each copy of the theme you want to distribute..
But don’t believe me, just send me an email to support if you really want to do this contest
