I have seen videos on Youtube, lawyers couldn’t find any law in America and anywhere in the world that the taxes are mandatory. People in those videos don’t pay taxes. It’s all about certain rights for instance buying an apartment, you can only buy one if you don’t have any debt to pay to the government. Maybe it’s not the best example, but this is how the trick goes.

Time for you to grow up. You may not like taxes or think they’re fair but the fact is everyone has to pay them and those who don’t are evading tax, not worth it.

Tax is spent on important public services for the most part; a country can’t run without them.

Assume the government does catch up with you which I hope they do, are you going to enjoy jail? A privilege for you since you never paid towards it :)

It’s time for you to WAKE UP , I have some economic background + researched + I have my own “company” I can assure you that you are as same brain washed as the Americans are ;)

They won’t, I am sure. Anyway I am moving to China in a couple of days so they have more money to spend to find me, so much that they will think it’s not worth it. Again, they didn’t come so far and they won’t. There is no law to say the tax is mandatory, they only say it is required for the government to work but it’s not mandatory. 100% verified information. You know what you pay for? For Prince William’s wedding, about 50 MILLION POUNDS out of YOUR POCKETS . Why not for you to have such good life?

This works fine if you are paid in notes and coins, or gold, or any other non-digital form.

But if you use a UK bank account then your income is being reported to HMRC and they have details of all of your income money on a database.

If you intend to move permanently to China and never come back then fine, they don’t have an extradition treaty with the UK.

But when they put a warrant with your name on it (and you won’t know about it, you will just get greeted by police as you step off of the plane) you need to be sure that:

a) you never step foot in the UK again, unless you have a fake passport, which is difficult seeing as they are introducing face recognition and all passports now have highly advanced microchips.

b) You don’t ever move to any country with a UK extradition treaty, which is pretty much every developed and developing country in the world.

c) China doesn’t become friendly with the UK and agrees and extradition treaty, which is pretty likely at some stage.

d) You don’t use a Western bank, as you can have your cash assets seized. And no, HSBC is not a ‘Hong Kong’ bank, it is very much the biggest British based corporation.

Sounds like you are getting in deep. There is a whole world of difference between not paying any tax and being a builder who keeps a few grand off of the books by doing cash jobs. Mainly the fact that one has an audit trail and the other doesn’t.

For 100% ‘tax evasion’, which is what this will become when you move to China, you face at least 18-36 months in a UK prison; and forced to pay what you owe + interest + costs. You can be forced to pay back 500% of the owed amount, and the maximum penalty is 10 years in jail.

If you think that there are no laws governing tax in the UK than you are an idiot. We aren’t a country with a formal constitution like America, our constitution is made up of LAWS , of which non-payment of tax makes up part. You are probably referring to that stupid ‘Freeman of the land’ rubbish, some draconian 17th century statute which has been continuously rubbished in UK courts. People have used that as a defense in court and been sent to jail. Nobody has been successful with that yet, and never will.

Our country evolves around legal precedent. The legal precedent is that tax evaders get sent to prison and made to pay, been that way for centuries and will be that way for centuries more. They don’t go to magistrates for a slap on the wrist, only to plea, they get a nice crown court sentencing or a trial with a jury and then their name and picture slapped all over the papers.

You should really think about paying in China, where they have executed people for not paying taxes. At least they do it cleanly and quickly, you just get shot in the head, no crucifixion or stoning.

Hey, you wouldn’t be able to design wordpress themes in jail but at least you can call yourself Al Capone (he did go crazy in solitary though, so not much consolation).

I think this may be different for the UK, otherwise I REALLY need to speak with my accountant lol

For the sake of your money, I wouldn’t bother. Just create yourself a private account and start earning money. If anybody come to your door ask where did you get the money, it’s not their business, show them your kiddo crying :)

I have studied some law during university and Finance professor said clear: taxes are not mandatory except VAT . Taxes become required when you ask for some certain rights as I tried to explain above.

Anyway those behind the government laugh about the millions tax payers while they get rich and mega rich and get modest 50 million pounds wedding out of your pockets. It’s just like that. Sucker!

Personally I think you’re quite naive and you’ve got your facts a little bit wrong and it will come crashing down on your doorstep one day. The only private account you can have is cash in your pocket and they’ll still ask where did you get your house… they have a warrant to look through your accounts so “it’s not your business” won’t last 2 minutes… good luck in China

Wow… you are going a bit in a wrong direction mate. I am talking only about legal actions and ONLY lawful ones. I said you wount need to pay income tax if you know what to do, where to go and who to talk. Don’t be crazy man :)) Fake passports, running to china… If you are affraid that someone will find you, it means you are doing it wrong in a first place. I am respected for what I know, and if they find me it means they want just to say hi, and are interested how did I do this. My producer(boss) listens to my advices, and he doesnt have to pay income taxes. Simple.

I am not crazy, I am not living in UK or other dominion and never will. I am not stupid enough to pay tax anymore.

Well then your contribution to this thread, which is about UK tax, is 100% irrelevant. Personally I believe in tax and pay into a system that I take back out of.

Tax paid for my education up to 18 years, it subsidized my education between 18-21, it pays for my healthcare, it pays for my street to be lit at night, it pays for my trash to be collected, it pays for the police, for the fire service. Sure, there are things that I would prefer it didn’t pay for, like bank bailouts and wars, but I am a long way off having paid back what I have taken out.

Are you honestly saying that you take nothing out of the system that you pay into? You are what is known as a ‘freeloader’. If anybody steals or shares one of your wordpress themes please don’t complain, they are only doing what you are doing, which is taking something for free at the expense of somebody else.

No doubt you will crawl to the government for help if you ever need it? You are in Romania of course, and us Brits are certainly used to Romanians not paying tax, I doubt that many of the Romanians in this country declare their income so nothing new.

The differences in culture probably do explain a lot though, I’ve been to Romania, it is clear that not a lot of money is spent on infrastructure. Driving on a Romanian road is like driving off-road, you need a 4×4 to get anywhere. The Greeks have the same culture, hasn’t done them much good either.

I wasn’t talking to you, I never quoted you, your input was entirely different to the input of the other contributor. I understand what you are saying, you are saying that his entire income go through his company, he merely pays capital gains tax instead or uses some other kind of loophole. I’d like those closed too, but declaring all your revenue as income for a business is very different from not declaring income through any means.

Tax avoidance 100% legal, Tax evasion 100% illegal

Philip Green = tax avoider, Al Capone = tax evador

I am against TAX PAY . I am only saying: stop paying tax for commercial open source. Joomla, WP, HTML is not for sale.
