Hi everyone,

This is a newbie question about Unbounce templates in general. I normally don’t ask questions like this so hopefully this is the right place.

I’m looking for a quality landing page template that I can quickly set up. I find that the best landing page templates here are in the Unbounce category, not the normal HTML.

I’m wondering, if I buy the Unbounce template, can I strip out all the Unbounce stuff to make it just HTML (which I’d then eventually port into WordPress)? Or do I have to use it with the Unbounce platform?

I know this is probably a stupid question, but like I said I’m a total Unbounce newbie and I have no idea how they work. Thank you in advance.

Unbounce template is dedicated for Unbounce drag&drop platform. You need Unbounce account to use it. Please keep in mind that because it is drag & drop platform, all of elements use absolute position in the CSS, and it is not easy adjustable after you scrap the HTML result.

If you need HTML, it is better to go to the HTML items here, http://themeforest.net/category/marketing/landing-pages

Hi tokopress,

Thanks for the response.

So you’re saying it’s not possible to just strip out the HTML from whatever Unbounce code is present in the theme files? I don’t really have a problem with absolute positioning or adjusting things via CSS.

I just don’t have any interest in using the Unbounce platform, and I would take your suggestion of going for the already coded HTML templates, but it seems all the best new ones are developed for Unbounce, which is my problem lies.

You can do that if you think you are okay with it. But, I think you will not get support from Ubounce item author for using it as HTML item. The decision is in you.
