Unite Theme - News/Blog implementation

Hello,

i want to use the Unit Theme (HTML Version) from your website. The template includes in the bottom half a box: “5 Jan. postet by….”.

I’m not so skilled in html and php. But how will it be possible to make such a news? Also for the later use, when i want to wrote just another one. It should automaticly wrote the author, date and so on. I also want to place the read more button in every news. I hope you understand my problem.

You should get the wordpress version… you need a back end for that…

Our current website is made with dreamweaver. Here the link: www.mittelschule-floeha.de

Now we want to use the Unite Theme. But i don’t think that the hole website should be with wordpress. My only problem is the news section. We have 1-2 news a week. And now i made them laborius with dreamweaver, every special thing, like date, author and headline.

The design should be like a normal website, even the Unite Theme.

Get the WP version is not so expensive.

What you need is the functionality of a CMS (Content Management System)

So, as some folks already suggested before me, just purchase the WordPress version of Unite, get WordPress and have fun

You should have received my email this morning regarding the capabilities of the HTML version of the Unite theme. As I said in the email, the HTML version does not contain any automation or back-end management features. You will have to manually add all content yourself, the same as the HTML site you currently maintain.

If you want automation WordPress is the only option currently that I have for Unite.
