@iHelp – just to clarify I will be changing the name which appears on the chat to the Display Name, not username.

Yep – I don’t mind if it’s not being changed, I just wanted to play with the settings. I’d just figure that’s how it probably should work tho.

Heya :) For how long are previous chats being saved and displayed? Would that be a lot of server space to show the complete chat history? Or at least… a week or so?

All messages are stored in the cache and at the moment it resets every 15 minutes. I think that a week is a good idea, but could potentially be too long. I’ll look into the available options.

Just an idea. Say user joins from codecanyon, why not put cc iframe under chat.

Have your regular chat page, with chat at very top of the page. Full width full height iframe of codecanyon underneath.

That way users can remain on chat and on the market in one browser window.
