I agree with Felt on this one. Breaking it down hourly puts it into perspective. If you think it will sell well in the long run your better off keeping it in the marketplace and im not just saying that because im staff.

I was also going to make it a weekly feature sometime in February as well.

Thank you for selecting it as featured for February, it made my day :) I will keep it here in the marketplace so guys you don’t have to reply anymore. Thank you one more time, if you want, you can delete this topic.

DoubleX, I think your file is being used on edited to be reproduced for many people. Someone made a thread about Fiverr and I saw your item on the first page of the video section. Just thought I should let you know.

FrameWerk Yes I know I found it few hours ago, I always google my projects. I wrote e-mail to their support and to that user, he offers three projects, all of them are from this site. No response yet :/

So I just got an answer from the person who offered it on Fiv…

“Hello. I’m so sorry. I thought once I purchased it from Videohive it becomes mine and I can do whatever I want with it…
I have deleted it.
So I guess It’s “not mine” although I purchased it? Hmmm…
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Peace.”

It looks that some people here even don’t know what they’re buying! :S
But I’m happy he wasn’t doing it on the purpose and he removed all three projects.

From the experiences with XXXXX .com, I thinnk we can draw the following conclusions…

  • People don’t read / pay attention to licences.
  • XXXXX .com users are probably not hardcore pirates.
  • People don’t intuitively understand not owning something that they’ve paid for.
  • People rarely stop to think how their actions might be exploiting other people.

I think a lot of these issues could be solved with making the licencing stuff even more obvious. Maybe even a pop-up.

“Thanks for purchasing. Your licence enables you to use this project for one customization for one client.”

Don`t sell it! You will be making more money if you keep it here. Trust me! I’ve had similar offers and I didn`t sell it.
