What i’d like to see is the possibility to get the item id when requesting anything to do that has the item title.
So that we can parse the atoms that go along with all the items/pages according to specific items.
hi there,
when making a request to http://marketplace.envato.com/api/edge/new-files-from-user:void101,audiojungle.json i get an error 500 and the message:
error: undefined method `fully_qualified_thumbnail_url’ for #{item: 0×2b943207a138}
a few hours ago all requests went well.
anyone got the same problems?
greetz,
voidG’day! I’ll sort this out today, sorry for the delay!
hi ryan,
thanks for the reply.
Additionally I found out, that the error only occure when making requests to …audiojungle.json. All other marketplaces works fine.
Please take a look at this Screenshot: http://twitpic.com/3shdy
Best regards,

hi there,
cool, now everything is working fine.
Many thanks ryan
ps: JSONP support would be very nice, so we don’t need a proxy to fetch the data.

Hey everyone!
OK, all item results include the item ID now, and I’ve fixed the error with the AJ item data sets.

Hi!
It would be great if one could grab a specific item’s data set from the API , i.e.:
The part that I’m interested the most in is determining all the users that bought a certain file.
Or can that be made already using the current api code?
Thanks, Dan

We don’t give out data on who bought individual files for privacy reasons. The only exception is when a user contacts you using the private messaging system.

Ok, thanks.
But even with an api key, shouldn’t I be able to see who bought my files?

Nope, we don’t show that data ever.
If you can’t see it on your item page when you’re logged in, you can’t get it through the API
It appears that the item thumbnails are broken. When echoing the item thumbnail url I get: “http://themeforest.net133972.jpg”. Any ideas?

+1, I hope it’s a minor error and will be fixed soon.
