To those of you who have built marketplace apps, whether for the Mac, iPhone, or some other platform, please note that we’ve recently updated our terms. They can be viewed here:

http://wiki.envato.com/support/legal-terms/envato-api-service-terms-and-conditions/

Additionally, we encourage you to use the “Powered by Envato” logo within your apps!

It can be downloaded here: http://wiki.envato.com/referral/basics-referral/banners-and-logos/

Feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions.

Thanks, everyone!

ah, so that rules out iEnvato? :( (ref point #4)

Additionally you say “we encourage you to use the “Powered by Envato” logo within your apps!”, the legal jargon says you must…

Is there going to be any substantial updates to the API , seems odd to do this “out of the blue”...

I don’t know if there is going to be an update soon but we get a lot of questions regarding the API terms of use so I’m glad to see it up :)
