Hi all,

Could anyone tell me how do you approach the issue with allowing your clients to update plugins that come bundled in your theme?

For example we have a theme that comes with rev slider and vis composer, both extended licenses. The question is: is there a way for the users that buy our theme to update those plugins in time? Or we need to update the plugins in our theme, bundle it and upload a theme update?

Btw we use envato toolkit as well

Thanks guys

There is no way to currently do that, it has to be done by you updating the theme with the new version of plugin(s).

Buyers of your theem do not get the purchase code (and shouldn’t) so there is no way for them to update the plugin.

Once Envato introduces a developer licence, hopefully such issues will be gone.

Thanks, I was afraid that’s the case.
