You can still do thumbnails without a review…
Really? How? Because when you edit an item, the thumbnail upload appears down in the section that “requires review”.

I’m still curious about this. Is there a way to update just an item’s thumbnail image without a staff review? If so, how?

Just go to the item’s edit panel and only upload/update the new thumbnail, you still need to write something in the reviewer’s message box though, but noone will read it so you can write whatever…then the system will see you are only updating the thumb and it will update it instantly.

I think the thumbnail can be updated live, no review proces needed. :)

Just curious so we can no longer update preview images automatically, only thumbnails?
Why did we change that?

Apparently – not thumbnails either. I recently changed all of my thumbnails and every single one had to go through review.

Yeah… the update system is slow in general. I hope there are plans for a better system.
If the new files approval system needs to be a little slower, to let files have some first-page time… the update system must work at full speed. No excuses allowed. :)
