Hi Friends,
For a while I was working to build an html e-mail template.
This will be the first file of mine to upload to ThemeForest so I have a couple of questions. I contacted to support (I’m waiting for their response , and I know they are working hard to support us) but I think your experiences may help me too.
I appreciate any help and your precious time , thankYou All.
1- This question is about the zip file containing my working live theme preview… Upload instructions say that I must include a zip file containing working preview of my work with related folders of images etc. , and the files should be named as 1.html , 2.html , 3.html etc. I made a template that user chooses color and layout combinations , there are a total of 180 templates , so there will be files from 1.html to 180.html ? What should I name my index.html file (this file has links to templates.) Are these naming conventions really important for the live preview ZIP package..?
2- Instructions also say that “DO use absolute urls for your images in your live preview”. I have a host which includes my demo so the file names and images have already absolute urls…I think this one is only for the demo link I hosted isn’t it… Zip file of course will have relative URLs..?
3- AT THE UPLOAD Section , I will upload the ZIP file containing my working live ThemePreview and screenShots from the templates to the THEME PREVIEW section, right…?
4- Are there any naming conventions for those ZIP files like we do at activeDen , something like “preview.zip” or “main.zip” etc. ?
I hope the questions are clear. The answers of those questions may protect me from possible rejections.
Thanks a lot for your precious time again. Very best wishes, Bedros

I hardly include a livepreview zip in my files!
Why? – No need for it!
You need three files to upload:- thumbnail.png – the 80×80px thumbnail of your item
- themepackage.zip – the zip file with all the content (this is the package the buyers can download)
- themepreview.zip – at least one image which is the preview image (590×300) which should be named 01_whatever.jpg.
You can add more images in the themepreview.zip file which should get named 02_firstimage.jpg, 03_secondimage.jpg,....
Hope you get the idea!
ThankYou very much for your reply revaxarts , it helps too much , I appreciate it.
At activeden , I got rejected for the name of my zip file , they were (the names of the zip files) caseSensitive.
I think there aren’t any strict naming conventions for the zip files here, right?
