Hi all—

I’ve downloaded Cluster (a premium WordPress template) to my desktop and have installed WordPress on my server, but have no clue how to upload the template to WordPress so I can get started building my website. Can someone please offer a neophyte web designer some assistance? Many thanks!

Best, David

If that’s puzzling you, you’ll want to read this book to avoid being puzzled even more so in the future. Help yourself out by making an investment in yourself, reading and learning. I know book learning isn’t exactly “fun” but I highly recommend reading at least this one book.

Prefer video? – Try this -

Official WP Codex (Knowledge base) – http://codex.wordpress.org/ – Search when you have coding problems specific to how WP works internally.

After you’ve learned a bit more about WP and web development, you may actually change your mind about your theme choice (or you may not). Why? You’ll be able to spot and understand things you simply couldn’t before.

PLEASE NOTE : Your website will reflect the amount of effort you put into (learning how to) make it.

You’ll need help beyond your simple question to complete your site to a degree that will make the web more attractive / great place to visit rather detract from / do detriment to it.

Also check out the knowledgebase here provided by the author the theme.
