I also post there from time to time, usually if it’s around holidays. Or when I feel happy,I jusy write down a smiley face to spread happiness (even though it’ll reach them in 12 days :D ) And sometimes there’s something funny about the item itself, worth mentioning and making somebody else (a reviewer) laugh.

I never did it totally randomly. And I never thought about doing it to help my item accepted. And people,be sure it will never happen, reviewers are professionals ;)

I personally like the random notes or funny things I come across during review. Can’t speak for all reviewers but I enjoy them. They don’t sway the review in either direction though :P.

Here are three scenarios:

1) you add a bad joke, and get rejected because of it

2) you add a good joke, and get rejected because the file isn’t good enough

3) you add a great joke, and get rejected because the reviewer wants a few more great jokes

:D

Yeah, I once shared a joke down there to lighten up the atmosphere. Can’t remember what it was though. Got rejected anyway :) Must find better jokes.

hahaha

Not sure about other marketplaces, but on CodeCanyon I am 99,99% sure that Siddharth read the messages.

Or most likely a lead reviewer will take over and ask for The Dark Knight Rises Bane jokes! They love those! Now now Cosmin, now is not the time for rejections! You must feed me more jokes!

For sure when you update your item, the reviewer would like to see what you did. :) http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/items-update/64939
