uploading pictures with Model Releases

I have sent a few emails to PD staff and no answer so I guess maybe here I will have some help

how do you guys submit pictures with MR? I haven´t found an easy way to upload and would like to hear from other, thanks a lot

I’m upload some photos via FTP and put ZIP -file with MR to folder /model_releases As manual said. Huh, I’ve got ‘Processing Error’ and note:

Release Forms must be a zip containing a ’.pdf’, ’.jpg’ or ’.png’, got a zip containing ’.zip’

Got a zip containing ’.zip’... Something interesting.

thanks but I have another issue! imagine if you have a bunch of people on the pictures like 3 but on the same folder that you have uploaded some have only 2, should we upload like all pictures with 2 people than the other with 3??

Hi luissantos84,

If I understand you correctly, each model will need a model release form when uploaded to ensure procedures are met. We’re also aiming on making some documentation and/or screencast to make the model release process a bit easier to understand for everyone. We’ll post more about that when it’s available.

the thing is:

- uploading a batch and that batch have pictures that have from 1 person to 3 persons! - should I upload like a batch with only pictures that have 2 persons! - and then the batch with 3 persons?

are you understanding?

No, you don’t need to split things up that much. If you’ve got a photo shoot with 3 people, but not every photo has all 3 people, you can still just upload the shoot and the model releases in one batch.

You should put the model releases straight in the bulk_import/photos/model_releases folder without zipping them up first.

I have upload first the MR on JPG to the MR folder and to the “before” folder the pictures..

right now they are with MR automatically??

I want to be sure or i am going to have all of them rejected because of missing MR, thanks

Here are the steps to follow when uploading via FTP
(review detailed directions here)
After you have logged in, head on over to the bulk_import>photos folder. Now this is where you will place your sweet photos. If some of your photos require a model release, then simply add all that apply to the bulk_import>photos>model_releases folder.

Please note, model releases should NOT be zipped when using the FTP process.

Now if I have completely missed the problem you are having, please let me know.
